During the 2007-2008 school year the WCA Media Center updated the Selection Policy which outlines the guidelines for the acquisition of media materials. Those materials selected must represent a diversity of views and expressions in order to stimulate growth in factual knowledge, aesthetic values and ethical standards, and promote critical thinking and objective evaluation under professional guidance.
The Board of Education adopted the revised policy July 21, 2008.
